Born and raised in Portland, Oregon I have always known that I would be destined to work with children… However; I wanted to work with them on a medical level.  Physical conditions made that an unachievable goal.  I continued my education in the medical and psychology of children and partnered with someone with more hands on experience to open a childcare center where we could give our children the best experience we can provide.  I’ve worked with children on social issues, family trauma, elementary school social skills.  Being in a child care setting will enable me to work with children and prepare them for their public or private school education experience.

I Graduated Parkrose Sr. High, where I was involved in the childcare program and continued my education at Mt. Hood Community college in the field of early childhood education.  I opened my first childhood learning center in 1994 in Portland, Oregon and continued through 2003, when I returned to my career in the legal field.  I understand my passion for children and find no greater satisfaction then teaching them and being a part of their growth, so I retuned back to childhood education.  I’ve always had obsession for children and the education of small children.  Watching them grow and seeing the light go on when they learn something new and watching them achieve a task on their own, Gives me joy and knowing that I may have an effect on them and they see the world around them gives me pride.

I was Born in Salem Oregon raised in San Jose California, I Graduated in 1993 and went on to college for business/marketing, I am Cuban and have mixed race children so working in this environment i feel it is very important to have the understanding and acceptance of all walks of life to all races and religions, I found an interest in working with children after my two children were grown. I have brought my experience in dealing not only with boys and girls but with racism having mixed children, I love the influence being Spanish i can bring to children, I feel with positive love, patience and guidance that children grow and learn to excel in any situation that is brought in front of them.
